I think Creality almost became king-of-the-hill with the CR V2 and V3 series. The large build volume was outstanding.
But then Creality stumbled (In my opinion) when they used a bordon-tube lined hot end and limited the temps to 260C. Upgrading the hot end on the V2 is not difficult but the V3 is a whole 'nother matter. It's difficult and expensive.
If I were buying a CR10 today, I'd buy the V2 and immediately upgrade the hot end and extruder for something a little more capable.
