CR-10 V3 set up in Creality Slicer
The ultimate goal is to install the BL-Touch firmware. Following directions for Creality Slicer setup, it says to add machine so I selected CR-10/CR-10s. Then under machine settings, I am supposed to change the serial port to COMM but I don't have that option. The only option available is AUTO. Help?? I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Am I not selecting the correct machine?

@windypoint There's little to do in the slicer to set up for a BL touch except add the BL routine into the start (& this is optional - only done if you want to perform bed level before every print)
You will still need to install the firmware, without it the printer will ignore the bed level command.
