Ender 5 plus z motors seizing up
-
Hi all,
I am having issues with my z motors. When auto leveling the z motors work when lowering the hotbed but when its time to lift the hotbed they seize up. When I turn the power off I can lift the bed manually by turning the coulper on the z axis. Any help is greatly appreciated

I unplugged the BL touch and replugged it back in and it's solved my issue.

@w1r3d-au any help would be great
The printer is not wanting to lift the hotbed when auto leveling. I am stuck for ideas why. I was having a problem where the oem extruder was not pushing filament (i have only printed 1kg). So I took the time to install the micro swiss direct drive and all metal hotend. Really hoping someone can solve my issues, I am not sure if the ender 5 plus has a error display setting that would point me in the right direction

Hi, @w1r3d-au
According to your description, the hot bed can rise and fall manually, so there should be something wrong with the limit switch.- Check whether the limit switch is damaged, and whether the wiring is loose or short-circuited.
- Exchange the motor wires of Z axis and X axis, and use the moving axis function of printer to drive the motors of X axis and Z axis respectively to see if they can move.
