Extruder Issue Ender 3 Pro
-
I keep getting a build up of melted filament all over nozzle and hot end. I clean it and then after a couple prints the same thing happens. I am getting melted brown substance that drips onto the bed. Any help would be appreciated.
Bed temp: 65
Nozzle Temp: 200
FIlament: PLA Hatchbox 1.75mm

I figured it out. Thermistor came loose so the machine was just continually heating up and melting. I reattached it and it's printing great again. Thanks for the help.

Hi, @tacfau Please clean the nozzle first, increase nozzle temperature to 200℃,and then manually feed the filament to see if it is extruded normally.
If manual extrusion can discharge filament, but printing can't discharge. then clean the throat tube and pull out and insert Teflon tube (if the Teflon tube is blackened and carbonized, cut off a piece directly)If the problem persists, please turn to the customer support: https://www.creality.com/service-request

@tacfau
hi again,
if your filament stick around the nozzle hole, play with the temperature first (some colors of the same brand may do that.. I confirm that for the silk gold in my case)..
a picture may helpful here..
