Motor constantly engaging. Firmware not working with new Chitbox.

Hi. My printer sounds like a motor is engaging constantly. The z axis moves fine and prints have been good. But also now that Chtbox updated and the newest firmware update I can't get anything to print. The whole z arm feels really loose.
