CR-6 SE FIRMWARE
@hvilorio Also check to make sure you need it. Mine already had the v1.02 so I'm good.
Available prob 6 month wait period requirement?
Is there anyway to find out what this software does? My printer is working, will this improve my prints, I normally keep all my electronics up to date, but MOST companies, will at least tell you what the update does???
Does anyone know what the firmware update does?
Fixes what or improves what?
More firmware issues:
- The printer needs to remember the bed leveling data when powered off, otherwise the resume print on power failure feature is useless.
- There is also a bug that causes the print head to slam into the glass bed, when cancelling a print on the first layer.
@hvilorio Thats what I came looking for and found this in the post a few down:
Probably like any motherboard but I'll watch if you do
The direct link to the firmware file (CR-6 SE_32-bit_V1.0.2.bin_200907.rar): https://file2-cdn.creality.com//website/45f880a5-52c3-4e61-8d10-cb34b6d587c7
Since the link is pretty obscure, I'd suggest going to https://www.creality.com/download instead, and search for CR-6, which will also show the firmware as result.
You'll need Winrar, 7-zip, or any other application that can extract files from RAR archives.
How do you install the firmware?
As this is my first time here, it would have been nicer to have the link instead of the pic.
Thanks for the update .
What HVJ17 said.
Can we get the change log please?
We need filament sensor settings enabled/disable.
We need motor current settings enabled.
We need more LCD menu settings.
Kickstarter page says you will make the code OPEN SOURCE, please just do that.
