Well what did you come up with? My printer is useless!!!!!
I installed the CR-6 SE firmware so I can at least see the screen, when I go to have it self level it drives the nozzle into the bed and will not heat it times out.

So I updated the firmware using the CR-6 SE update on my CR-6 MAX but now my build volume information on the motherboard is wrong as it shows the 6 SE volume and the nozzle and bed won't heat. It times out. I tried going back to default parameters but it doesn't work. I've had this thing a month (after waiting 9 months to get it) have yet to print anything. Nothing but problems!

Help!!! I went to upgrade the firmware on my CR-6E MAX and now the screen is in Chinese and I can't seem to find where to change it back. I've used this printer once and it wasn't printing because the nozzle was too close to the bed. Ugh!!!!

Where is updated firmware for CR-6 Max with the 4.5.3 board? There is a firmware bug in that firmware that causes issues with OctoPrint.

@admin Putting the previous screen firmware back doesn't work. See my post above.

So I'm bricked at the moment because the new screen firmware won't let me select a language and then it locks up.
Putting the previous screen firmware gets the screen back to English but there is no temp data and when you click it beeps but does nothing. @admin or anyone, what do I do now?

@Lanraider Mine pops directly to the language selection on reboot after the screen update but you can't select a language and then the screen locks up.

@Lanraider Got the same problem. Changing it back to the previous version will get you back into the english version.

Well we're doing everything else by ourselves with this printer, why do things any different with the FW?

@admin Newest firmware changed my language to Chinese and I don't see how to change it back.

Does this firmware fix the protocol bugs like the one that prints every value in the temperature report lines twice? When will the source be released?
