New Ender 5 Pro + CR Touch = Failed Auto Bed Leveling
-
I recently purchased a new Ender 5 Pro with a V4.2.2 Mainboard (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0892ZK85G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
and a CR Touch (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09936TNJV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.)I did the following steps:
- assembled the Ender 5 Pro
- installed the CR Touch
- updatedthe firmware (using Ender-5 ProMarlin2.0.6HW4.2.2ALTE137.bin)
- determined and input the Z offset (-2.125)
- started a auto bed leveling
However after successfully taking an initial measurement, the print head moved along the X axis until it maxed out in that direction. At which point the CR Touch was no longer above the bed (see image below), so when it attempted to measure the bed, the print head crashed into the bed. What can I do so that I can successfully complete the auto bed leveling?
