Mid-Print Filament Change
-
Hi,
So, I finally got my printer to print something but, about 6% in, it does a filament change. Why? It's supposed to be a single print, no colours or dual heads that I'm aware of.
My printer is an Ender 3 Max and I'm using Prusaslicer.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for your help but I've finally thrown in the towel β by going manual i.e. removing the CR touch and returning it to Amazon

@JamesCRocks You can use this gcode file to turn it off, put it on the sd card then you normally click, print from sd then press the turnofffilamentsensor.gcode then you will see a text that says that it is turned off

@JamesCRocks Do you use filament sensor? temporarily disable your filament sensor (LCD menu) - it should then be OK

Use Cura instead, this will fix, add custom printer, this is how it should look like
This is the custom profile which i made: https://dl.uploadgram.me/6242e943f24efg?raw
You can import it through settings->cura->profiles->import

Check Prusaslicer settings
I have, but I'm relatively new to 3D printing, very new to Creality.
Someone suggested I check the gcode for "M600" which I did. I found the following line:
; color_change_gcode = M600
However, there's only one instance of a line with "M600" in it and (so far) the print has purged twice (I left it printing over night and came down to find it stopped at 33%) .
Do you have a suggestion what I should look for?
