Thermal Runaway!
-
Hi,
I'm new to 3d printing.
I have been doing a lot of printing on both of my Prusa Min Plus (Month old) and the Ender 5 plus three weeks old).
My last Ender print was a 31.5 hr print that was successful.
I'm about 34+ hours into a 49.5 hr print and I get this error:THERMAL RUNAWAY!
CyclePower! Temperature drifted
to far from setpoint. Excessive
part cooling, improper PID values
or failing components can cause
this. If problem persists, Connect
to serial monitor.I powered off and powered on and I get a message If I want to continue.
Well, of course yes, however, the nozzle didn't get hot enough to melt the filament so it just went through the motions and my print was a failure. In addition I've only had my printer for a few weeks, I ordered the printer with the silent board.
I get a package from Creality and it's a board. So I have this board if the original board is toast (planning on installing the board anyways). How can I fix this (does it require the silent board and/or should I upgrade the hotend)
Thanks for the help
