Too much stringing and nozzle leakage in ender 3 s1 pro

  • Hello creality community,

I am new to this hobby... I recently got my s1 pro.. but there is way too much stringing in the initial prints....i have tried playing with maximum slicer settings inc retraction distance, speed, nozzle temp, layer height etc. But i couldnot eradicate the stringing part and also nozzle leakage... I have printed the printer test at 200 nozzle and 60 H/b and the cable holder at 195 nozzle and 60 H/b.

I have attached some picture. It would be of immense help if you all can guide me to the slicer settings 🙂 thank you !

  • @Aero_Vie You are overextruding too much filament, I would also check your printer settings make sure power on failure is off, and turn off Z-hop in the slicer settings if its on. For non complex prints you should not need Z-hop anyway. To correct your extrusion issues you should change your flow in the slicer.

Try this video this will help you understand and get your flow rates in check.

He also links the test cube you will need to print and measure to check your accuracy.
