Ender 3 V2 black screen..

i wanted to update the firmware my ender 3 v2 firmware, and now i have a black screen..
I've download the latest .bin firmware, add it on a formated card un fat32, and inserted on the printer then turned it on, that's it, since my screen is black

@Gracy What do you do if you screen is receiving power and the motherboard is receiving power with a blue light and it still won’t start

Hi, @cocolas 1. It's very likely that the firmware flash failed.
2.Unplug and plug the screen wiring again, reflash the motherboard and screen firmware.
3.If there is no improvement, check whether the motherboard is powered normally(whether the indicator light on the motherboard is normal)
4.Test whether there is a voltage at the screen wiring. If there is voltage, that means the screen is damaged. If there is no voltage, that means the motherboard is damaged. Just replace the damaged motherboard or screen.
Notice:If the printer can run stably, it is recommended not to flash the firmware(unless the printer is modified). The motherboard and screen are likely to be damaged by flashing firmware.

I've just got a black screen on my E3v2 as well. I've tried all the possible fixes I could find in this forum, including the memory card in the display slot, using a different file name, FAT32 card formatting, using the original firmware version, but still not joy.
Looks like its bricked and I can't recover anything. Does anyone know what can be done to fix it when this happens?

I was in the same position as the OP and I was beating my head against the wall trying to figure out why my screen had gone black. After MANY hours of testing, I determined that it was changing the baud rate to 250000! I don't know WHY this would react the way that it did, but, that's what happened. I just thought I would post for others to check that.

You may need to add a new DWIN_SET file

Around 3:05 he shows where the DWIN_SET file for the Printer is.
After you followed this guide you get a new firmware .bin
You copy this .bin and the DWIN_SET file onto the formated SD card
it should work afterward
Disclaimer:
took me like 3hours to figure that out and Idk why it works, while trying that, my screen turned blue than orange, after the original firmware it started beeping really loud. So you may experience that.

Is the actual printing speed of the sliced model normal?
Suggest you use a multimeter to measure the drive voltage and pin voltage on the X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis on the motherboard

@admin I followed the instructions and I now have a working screen again. Unfortunately, now none of my stepper motors work. It won't autohome or allow me to manually move any of the axis's using the screen. It makes a noise as if it is trying to activate the Y axis stepper when I select autohome but nothing occurs just the wait message on the screen.

@ENdeffect I had this same problem. To fix it I had to format the SD card and both the .bin file and DWIN_SET folder to the SD card. It booted up right away after doing that.

I have the same issue, trying to update the firmware, had a black screen (but fan turn on).
I tried to update again both the green and the .bin file (with the one provided on Creality download page, I changed the name) and it's still the same. black screen... kind of confused right now...

Try renaming the .bin file to something different such as firmware1.bin
See videos if no go.
