Does the CR-6 SE no save to eeprom?
-
Hi all.
Been setting up my CR-6 SE and I see it uses the sdcard for the eeprom DAT.
I have updated to the latest firmware but the .Dat file still saves to the sdcard.
What's the best way to solve this?
Thanks

@leakydiode This is false. It does have eeprom. Creality FW does not use it.
Go to git hub an install the community FW for the CR6SE. It is enabled and the sdcard is no longer needed for persistent settings.Go to reddit to check it out.

The mainboard for this printer has no physical EEPROM. They are typically a small flash chip on the board that the microcontroller can store stuff in. Since it doesn't have an EEPROM it uses the SD card to store the ABL mesh and other stuff probably.

Thank you.
Now I understand
