I’ve been frustrated by accomplishing various lettering tasks over many years of involved hobbying. Most of my lifelong shop is quite analog based, and my skills I’ve built over many years are somewhat resistant to the whole “new world” of perfection via software.
I recently began a new personal project and hope to begin another perhaps this summer 2024, and both will necessitate precision lettering I just can’t or don’t want to do by hand.
So with some money I earned on another very involved project that’s wrapping up this summer (2024), I decided to buy the Falcon Pro 40W.
Now my “right away” challenge is to view videos and ask questions pertaining to mostly the computer interface.
I took a CAD/CAM course last year, and there’s a bit of similarity, so I don’t feel totally in the dark; otherwise, there’s a rather steep learning curve and based on other’s online accounts, I’m a bit intimidated by the notion of getting started.
I reckon I’ll eventually get with the program, pardon the pun.
The name: My girlfriend, a supermodel SE Asian girl, inspired the somewhat random choice I made for myself.
