I’ve been retired for about 10 years now, my job entailed driving all over the north west and sometime beyond to service and repair Xerox products both copiers and large format printers, up to 54".
3D printing is a further extension in the Z direction.
I’ve really enjoyed designing and printing all sorts of models and spare parts I started off with an Ender 3 S1 and finally sold that for a K1 Max which I’m loving. The speed with the Hyper PLA is just phenomenal.
I also had a Creality Sonic Pad which I used to control my Ender, it was a great step up from the twist press select press knob control. No thanks.
I would in no way consider myself any sort of expert, as I think there is loads to learn in the world of 3D printing.
I’ve probably only started scratching the surface. but enjoying every minute.
