I am a retired industrial designer/teacher that like to make things that are useful. I started many years ago with a Prusa Tricolor as a kit. That was not user friendly at all but somewhat good for learning a little about 3d printing in general. I could hardly use it. Then I had a Renkforce 1000 from Germany with most information in German (not my language) but it was so much better. It was a pain to put in the filament. Then I did get the Creality K1 Max with is a heaven compared with my former 3d printers. It is so easy for getting good printing so I can focus on the making and not on everything else. I use Vectorworks as a cad tool for design.
