RE: Creality box, change z compensation to 0
I have the same problem now. Not sure why. It never used to do it. Did a reset also. Ive stopped using it. defeats the purpose if you still have to manually adjust your offset on your machine on the fly so it will work. Maybe there is a firmware update that will be released to fix. Havn't been able to get the firmware install to work via mem card so thats a option you could try if you havnt already. Your also susposed to be able to plug a webcam in...i bought their webcam to plug in...it stops working when i do lol...i dunno...if I can figure out how to stop it from doing the zeroing thing i will for sure reply again
its really annoying!!

When I plug the Creality Camera Into the Creality Wifi Box it stops broadcasting wifi.
The device seems to work fine with my ender v2 plugged into it. I had some issues with it stopping mid print and rejecting the memory card. I stopped using it after that but it does fine with small prints. The issue at hand is when I plug in the creality camera I bought for the wifi box exclusivly. As soon as I plug in the camera, It stops working. the blinking orange light goes solid and thats it. It stops broadcasting wifi and I can't do anything with it. The app says I have the lastest firmware. Even if the camera is plugged in and I power up the box nothing. Help!!!

After Creality Camera is plugged in the wifi box stops working
Creality Wifi Box Works until the camera is connected. Do I update firmware? I am given no option to do so in the app. I purchased the wifi box then purchased the camera afterwards. I tried a tried a generic webcam and wouldn't work either so I bought the 'Creality' web cam and not working. As soon as I plug in the camera It goes solid yellow, looses wifi broadcast, and you can not do anything. As soon as you unplug the camera...your good to go. What is up with this? Before I start messing around with firmware is there something I should know about. Followed all the instructions. Very frustrating. I think I may have wasted more money. This is actually my second wifi box. Couldn't get the first unbricked after I turned it on without the printer on. Thats another issue creality needs to work on...feedback power to the printer from the wifi box. Shouldn't happen. Some other post suggested cutting the +5 volt lead in the usb cable. Why should I have to do this? I can and will try it but shouldn't have to. Anyways...solution or insight please!!! Not wasting anymore money. If I have to hack stuff so be it but again shouldn't have to. This should be proven hardware and software with minor glitches or fumbles. Not junk like this. I just want the CREALITY CAMERA FOR THE CREALITY WIFI BOX TO WORK AS ADVERTISED!!!!!!!! IT IS NOT!!!! I downloaded the latest firmware from this site which is difficult to begin with. So will actually try and update my first wifi box with the firmware and see what happens. Not going to try it on the working box. Once this is working it will be amazing...once it is working. Again any insight or suggestions will be fantastic!!!

RE: How to unbrick your Creality Box
@CrawlingEye Copy the link and open up a new tab or browser window. Past the link into the search field. You will be prompted to save a file which is the file from the link.

RE: How to unbrick your Creality Box
@Tateburgess01 copy the link address and past it into a new tab in your browser. It will download after that. Why it won't work just by clicking on it is beyond me. Maybe a security setting or something.

RE: Ender 6 and CWB
I found the same problem and I think I bunked the wifi box in the process. I had the wifi box on without the printer on and it was doing the same thing and then just stopped working. I got a second wifi box and use a switch to turn both on a the same time or you could use a power bar. Not ideal. Will try the cut the +5 Volt lead on the usb cable. I'm guessing without looking at the link below that you have to hack a cable and reconnect wires...I don't want to that crap lol. I can. But I shouldn't have to hack a cable. Creality should know better as a manufacturer to investigate this or put in electronics to prevent feedback. It happened to me and yourself so its not a new thing. Any updates on this would be appreciated. I really don't want to buy more junk to hack junk to get junk to work. It should just work.
