    • Beginner needs help: multi color print

Hello all, First of all I am 12 years old And still learning how to use my 3-D Printer. I am trying to make a multicolor print using Cura and it’s post processing tools. I have watched many videos on how to do it But none of them have explained my question. My main question is How to use the pause at a certain height But instead of height a spot in the print. An example of what I mean is this STL file from Thingiverse. STL FILE Say I am trying to change the filament at the arms of the file how do I Make it so it pauses at a certain spot instead of a layer?
      Thank you in advance

    • Beginner needs help: bed adhesion

Hi everyone, first of all I am new here. I am 12 years old and I just got my first 3-D printer. I’ve been having problems with bed adhesion and I have looked at lots of videos but I can’t seem to figure out what I need to do to make this work. My projects begin to work but then all of the sudden after about 10 minutes or so, a glob of filament appears and my project moves around the bed. It’s almost like the filament globs up and the extruded gets caught in the glob. Any ideas that can help me to prevent this from happening?

I have tried painters tape, hair spray, glue sticks, and different platform adhesion in my slicer.
      Nothing has worked yet.

      Any help is appreciated!
