The single up/down arrows at the top of the page do not work when looking at the threads in a forum. They are not very intuitive either. Using larger buttons to left of the "Watching" button, would be much better.

RE: What problem is this?
The print angle near the top of the sphere is too high. All spherical objects have this issue. You need to use supports, which can be tricky. You are going to need to support the top ~1/3 of the sphere in some way.

RE: Slice Engineering Mosquito Hotend
@capn-stretch you'll need a custom compilation of the firmware. The thermistor is not compatible with the default compilation, and the default maximum temp is ~275°C. You'll need to change both at the very least. The same goes for if you switch to some other main board as well. Not to mention all of the other changes required to print PEEK.

Ender 5 Plus Source Code
Where is the latest version of the source code for the Ender 5 Plus? The July 22, 2019 download at Ender-5 Plus Firmware & Files is for BLTouch_V1.70.1, but the dates don't seem correct. There doesn't seem to be a Creality3DPrinting GitHub repository for the Ender 5 Plus either.
Since you aren't going to fix the auto-leveling issues, it would be nice if you'd at least allow us to enter the correct values for Marlin, and build the firmware so that we can at least use our machines properly. The BLTouch offset was never entered into the Marlin configuration, thus auto-leveling as it currently is, makes things worse.

RE: Extra cables on Ender 5 Plus
@sjavoroski it looks like you've miswired some things. The "E" connector is for your Extruder stepper motor. The red-black-yellow connector goes to the filament runout sensor. You need to recheck all of your connections. If you have anything crossed, you can cause damage to the machine.

Ender 5 Plus: USB CAUSES FAILURES
I've been trying to get my brand new Ender 5 Plus working for the past 2 weeks, as I was having a whole slew of problems. While auto-leveling, the X-carriage would sometimes ram the BL Touch into the left cross beam for no apparent reason, and grind until power was removed. I also noticed other strange behavior where the touch panel would not work at all, or would click something other than what I touched.
Then, while 1 auto-level, the BL Touch again crashed into the left rail and the machine completely stopped working correctly. After a power cycle, the BL Touch would flash red with a 50% duty cycle after every power on. It was now impossible to home the machine as it requires the BL Touch for this, and it will not allow you the lower the Z below that of the power-on state when it isn't working. I've been trying to work with tech support for over 2 weeks, but to no avail. A turn-around of 3-5 days to get an answer on an open ticket is beyond ridiculous.
Today, I was browsing Amazon, as it was looking like I was going to be forced to purchase a replacement BL Touch (tech support is useless) when I saw something that caught my eye in the product images. There is a G-code command to "Release Alarm". So, I thought I'd try it. Turned on my Ender 5 Plus, the BL Touch immediately went in failure mode (a.k.a. alarm state), and I plugged in the USB. Immediately upon plugging in the USB to both my computer and the Ender 5 Plus, the Ender 5 Plus began to cycle, and so did the BL Touch.
The BL Touch is now working, and all I did was plug in the USB. I've power cycled the machine multiple times and it's working again w/o any issues. I then thought back and remembered that every single time that something weird happened, the USB was plugged, so there is something with the USB that causes not only the BL Touch to fail, but also the entire Ender 5 Plus to fail.
TL;DR there is something seriously wrong with the USB port and/or the firmware in relation to the USB port. Creality needs to look into this, as I'm sure that I'm not the first person that this has happened to. They also need to do something about their tech support, which is probably the worst that I have worked with in recent years. Turn arounds on open tickets should be less than an hour. Tiny companies can do this, so there is no excuse for this bad service.

RE: Best Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for the Ender 5 Plus?
@WhiteHare that is somewhat strange. You would be on the max end range of the 750, but it should have worked without complaining. I have a UPS on everything electronic, and I recently stopped using APC in favor of CyberPower, because the APC cartridges have a major design failure. I usually don't purchase anything under 1800, and typically you'd like the UPS to be at least double the load, and 3x if you can. The Ender 5 Plus doesn't need the nice sine-wave, so you can go with the slightly less expensive versions at a higher rating.

RE: Squeaking Z Lift
@WhiteHare I just received my Ender 5 Plus last Friday, and immediately out of the box it squealed like crazy. It was so loud that you could hear it 4 rooms away. I tried 3-in-1 oil, but that made it even worse. So, I ordered a tub of Sta-Lube SL3151 Super White Multi-Purpose Lithium Grease, which was only $7.29 on Amazon, and it immediately went silent after applying it to the screws today. I'll let you know how it goes, but this is that white grease that I've seen used on other screws, so I'm hoping it lasts.

RE: What's the best Ender 5 Plus build plate to buy for printing PETG?
@WhiteHare are you using "Elmer's Disappearing Purple School Glue"? If not, give it a try. It shouldn't leave a residue that you need to worry about. Aside from that, you can also try WhamBam, just make sure to get the Ender 5 Plus parts.
