RE: 📣📣CR-10 smart latest firmware has been unveiled
Tried it. Cant seem to figure out how to move the Extruder though. Seems like they took that away.

RE: 📣📣CR-10 smart latest firmware has been unveiled
CR-10 Smart Running FW 1.0.10. How would I obtain all of current values necessary to calibrate my printer? Also, I don't see away to move the Extruder so I can calibrate that. Seems this firmware is missing a lot of basic capability. I can't connect to the machine to send commands to it (I can but its way more work than should necessary just to calibrate the printer). Creality your leaving us stranded here. This is basic stuff.

RE: CR10 Smart Touchscreen not responding to touch.
@Tumbleweed Patience. The front panel FW boots up fast but the machine FW takes longer. Allow the machine about 5 mins after the panel boots up and then see if the panel is responsive. That's what works for mine. Btw, I just got mine in Nov and had the initial FW on it (can't recall which) and then updated the fw to 1.0.10. Both FW levels behaved the same.

RE: 📣📣CR-10 smart latest firmware has been unveiled
@bfilion05 I find that the Extruder Head has to 'home' to center first upon entry into the Bed Leveling menu. Once that it is done, I can then select Auto. Running 1.0.10 FW here.

Extruder Calibration
What is the recommended way to calibrate the extruder on a CR-10 Smart running version 1.0.10 Firmware? I see in the Settings a way to change the E Step value but there seems to be no way to manually move the extruder from either the panel or Creality Cloud. I'm not opposed to sending a gcode file to the machine to do this but I am not well versed in Marlin. Does anyone have a simple Marlin script that will work for this printer? If "this is the way" I assume I would need to update the script after determining the current feed rate which doesn't sound like it would too crazy with a little direction.
I attempted to use the example found in Creality's 'Troubleshooting Guide' on page 42 but this did not work
Presumably because it was posted in 2019.
Please help if you can.

RE: extruder not working
I just had the same issue. I ended up (read it all before you jump) disassembling the extruder and found that the filament was broken right after the extruder gear. It broke because the brand new roll of filament was knotted on the spool without my knowledge.
Thus the extruder 'pulled' the new filament but the filament did not budge and it end up breaking apart and expanding (I think the gear ate into the filament because it wouldn't move) such that the expansion right near the tube hole would not allow it to be 'pushed' by more filament. Once I removed the cover of the extruder I could clearly see the problem. and I was able to then remove the remaining stretch of filament in the printer fairly easily.
One important note though: If you have never disassembled the extruder know that it is 'spring loaded.' Upon removing the screws and cover the spring (which sits near the far right side just behind the little screw) and triangular tensioner (below the little screw, hidden) will go every which way. You have been warned
