I got into 3d printing 4 months ago with e5+.
in the beginning, I had no issues whatsoever with pla. for my project i needed a different material of abs or PETG.
printing abs was a nightmare even with the creality enclosure prints would pull the layers apart. After a lot of ruined abs filament and many failed prints, i decided to try PETG.
Because of the size of my project i installed a bigger nozzle and creality all-metal extruder.
In the beginning, i had decent prints and i was ok with that quality. however, the infill lines were not connecting properly to the walls.
After printing, 4 parts problem began. All-metal extruder was grinding on the filament and it would no longer have grip to feed. After the investigation, i have tried everything and did not know what to do but something was wrong with the extruder. I wanted to get the micro swiss direct drive extruder anyway and i thought that that would be a good opportunity to upgrade anyway and stop battling with this one.
after the installation, the problem went away.
however, i have realized that whenever printing the infill the nozzle would scrape the already printed infill see attached picture
by doing that it increases chances of layer shift which happens often printing higher than 80mm/s
also, i think that was the reason my previous extruder stopped working.
it still does not what to connect the infill to the walls properly
