    • CR-6 SE successes

So there are a lot of posts about problems but I thought i'd post a bit of good news.

I know many people have issues and some are having disasters. But if you are able to overcome the issues, and spend a bit of time fiddling with your print profiles, I do think the CR6 is physically capable of some very fine printing indeed.

I just printed my best benchy ever. At 0.1 layer height it did take 3 hours, but the result has amazed me, it's almost flawless. For the first time even the tiny text on the stern is clear.

      Don't give up!

    • RE: Noisy Fans

I at least know that the blower fan thats on the right-hand-side is 24v
Mine is making a right grinding noise, right from new. I think the bearings are crud, i've emailed creality to request a replacement.

Havent looked at the others, but agree its a shame that the nice silent stepper drivers are basically pointless because of the loud fans.

    • Feature request!

      Hi @admin
Can I request a simple change to the firmware please:

When you stop a print, move the print head up 5mm or something before moving it off to its XY home position.

I ask as with the CR6 in that if you stop a print in the first few layers, the print head simply makes its way sideways over the print surface without allowing for an un-level bed.

In my case, my print bed is slightly higher on the left than the right. This is not an issue during printing due tot he the auto-levelling grid, but the grid rules see to be ignored when you manually stop a print. So the nozzle is being roughly scraped across the bed, causing damage to both the nozzle and the bed.

      Thank you!
