    • Motherboard cooling Ender 3 V2

I have a question regarding board cooling. In the previous models the board cooling was connected to the workpiece cooling. Now it is the same with the V2. I did not measure the temperatures, but could there not be problems with the new steppers on the silent board? Wouldn't it have made sense to connect the board cooling directly to the 24V or to the Hotend cooling?
If you work with PLA that needs cooling the board become cooled, but for example if you use PETG the board gets in the worth case no cooling at all. I think this could be an issue.

They also found out that the ventilation slots of the PSU were unfortunately covered. I think that it could be also a bad idea.

    • Configuration File for Ender 3 V2

I found out, that on the Ender 3 V2 the content of the eeprom would be saved on the microSD into the eeprom.dat file. I suppose that the motherboard has an eeprom. If I'm right, I would like to know whether this feature will be enabled in the future and why it is currently disabled. Furthermore, it would be interesting to know if creality is intended to transfer the menu structure of the predecessor model also in the V2.

      Thanks

I found out that on Marlin 2.0.6 this issue was fixed.

    • RE: Refresh SD-Card Option in Firmware of Ender 3 V2

@admin said in Refresh SD-Card Option in Firmware of Ender 3 V2:

Hi @Semmi, Ender-3v2 has no manual refresh function, it will refresh automatically. It may be that the external reader does not match the card slot. Could you try another one? Thank you

Sure I could try another, but the issue would persist. The embedded reader refreshes when you push the card into the slot. This doesn't happen if you use an external reader, cause the inserted adapter of the external reader remain inserted. The menu is present in predecessor models, but I think that cause of the new display of the V2 there could be a bigger effort to add it.

No, the temperature of the bed is stable. I speak about the motherboard cooling, that is connected to workpeace cooling. I think that I will connect the motherboard cooling direct to the 24V. It will be noisy but I think that the new steppers could need more cooling especially when you print petg for hours. Maybe I am wrong, but that is why I asked this question.

    • RE: Ender-3 32-bit_ 2.0.1_Latest Firmware_0813(1)

Thanks. In the Readme i found out that it's also for the Ender 3 V2. Can you please write if there is a difference between this firmware and the one in the Ender 3 V2 section?
Apparently it's the same version 1.0.1 and also the same Marlin 2.0.1.

    • Refresh SD-Card Option in Firmware of Ender 3 V2

Since I work a lot with the SD-Card and wanted to protect the slot mechanically and use the SD card format, I bought an external reader. There seems to be a switch in the micro-SD slot of the ender, which triggers reading the card. If I now use the external reader, it unfortunately doesn't work and the content of the card doesn't be refreshed, because the switch at the slot of the ender is not activated again. The predecessor model had a refresh function in the menu. Could this function also be implemented in Ender 3 V2?

      Thanks
