Since the temperature has gone down including bed temp as well, doesn't this defeat the purpose of the filament detection sensor?
The part is already detached from the base, therefore even if you add filament you can't resume printing over the same part because the part will move.

RE: CR-10 V2 changing filament when it has run out mid print

How can you keep bed temperature unchanged when filament sensor stops the print and waits for filament change?
I have a Creality CR-10 S4 which also comes with filament detection sensor.
When filament detects the end of the filament the printer goes in pause as it should but at the same time bed temperature goes down which cause the detachment of the part from the platform. This defeats all the purpose of filament detection. Is any way that I can make the machine to go in pause without lowering down the temperature of the bed?

Filament detection and bed temperature
Hello, I have a CR-10 S4 and trying to print a large part. When filament detector went in pause as it should when no filament is there, the bed temperature went down and the part detached from the bed. This defeats all the purpose of the filament detection sensor.
Is any way to keep the temperature of the bed unchanged when the printer goes in pause mode and waiting for the filament to be changed?
