The display screen on my Ender 5 illuminates but there is no information displayed after I installed the BL Touch kit.

I followed the provided instructions, installed the probe, made connections, updated the firmware. Once I turn the power on, the probe lights up & extends twice (self test). Based on this, I'm assuming the firmware & wiring changes are OK. The display lights up, but there is no information on the screen. I tried to remove pinboard A & connected the screen directly to the motherboard with the same results.

Does anybody have any ideas how to resolve this problem?
