Where is updated firmware for CR-6 Max with the 4.5.3 board? There is a firmware bug in that firmware that causes issues with OctoPrint.

RE: CR-6 MAX firmware issue
The Max has probably the 4.5.3 board. Earlier versions and the early SE had 4.5.2 boards. What I've read says the pin outs are different between the two boards.
Creality has not published the information needed, nor have they released the Marlin files required by license agreement, so the community can download and re-compile the firmware.
This is a bad situation. Hoping someone from Creality will resolve the issue soon.

CR-6 Firmware Bug with board 4.5.3.
Creality,
The CR-6 Max has a bug in the firmware and prevents its use with Octoprint.
But Creality has not released the source for the firmware, the information about pin outs on the 4.5.3 board vs the 4.5.2 board and is messing up the community who have the 6 Max.
Not releasing the Marlin source is against the terms of use/license agreement for Marlin's use.
Please resolve this issue for all 6 Max users who like using OctoPrint.

RE: Cr-6 SE - USB connection
@Nigelh , This isn't limited to the CR 6 or 10. My Ender 5 Pro does this. If I shut down my printer by the power switch with the Pi still connected, the LCD screen still receives power and on occasion the part fan tries to run. So I always pull the microUSB plug from the 5P before turning off power.
