@kwinder1 Apparently something has changed since Oct 2020 when you first asked about Nylon filament support on the Ender 6. Because I have no problems with Nylon (Inland BD6V Nylon 1.75mm) filament. I'm using Simplify3D on a macbook pro to do the slicing/gcode generation. My Ender6 is completely stock except for the addition of a BLTouch. I configured the temp for Nylon at 255 C with bed temp of 85 C. And I'm using purple glue stick for a coating on the bed. The printer is running at "normal" speed, as opposed to "faster" or "fastest" modes, due to the limited max temp of 260 C for Nylon. But it's working perfectly.
Hope this helps!
