2 NEW K1C shows XS2000 error at the end of every print

Hello Creality team and community,

I recently bought two brand new Creality K1C printers, and both show the exact same issue — after completing a print successfully, the printer stops, the nozzle stays at the last printed point, and then an error “XS2000” appears on the screen.

The model is Creality K1C (non-CFS version). However, both printers arrived with firmware that seems configured for the CFS (Color/Filament System), even though I do not have or use CFS installed.

Details:
• Model: Creality K1C
Mainboard Version: CR4SU200382C13, V1.0.0.23.20250722S
• Software: Creality Print
• Printer status: brand new (less than 10 total print hours on each)
• Environment: stable temperature, good ventilation, all cables and connectors checked — no visible damage

What I tried:

  1. Updated the printer firmware and motion controller firmware — no change.
  2. Checked the toolhead cable and mainboard connectors — everything looks fine.
  3. Performed full factory reset — still the same result.
  4. The error always appears only at the very end of the print, right after cooling starts.

So both printers print perfectly, but right at the end of every job, they freeze and show “XS2000”.

Could you please explain what exactly this error means and how to fix it?
Is it possible that the CFS firmware version is causing this issue since I use the printers without the CFS hardware?

Thank you in advance for your help.
