2194 unknown exception error

Just set up a new Creality Ender 3 V3 KE printer and I’m getting this error. Can someone help me wih this issue?

2194 is a z axis issue, especially the cr touch sensor . You can try re-seating the 32 pin ribbon cable on the print head and inside the machine, check for a bent pin in the printhead. You can also try pulling out the touch sensor pin, it might be stuck.

Thanks, I’m assuming I will need to remove the bottom cover to reseat the cable inside the machine?

i would leave that until last. Reseat the ribbon cable, reseat the cable on the breakout board on the printhead. Examining the pins is a must just incase you bent one on assembly. Power up. If that fails then yes the one to the mainboard.

Thanks you so much. Even though the pins looked good, after reseating both cables, the error did not occur on a test print.
