I don’t have any input on the issue, but you may be able to get proof of purchase from Microcenter. There will either be record of your purchase in your account (if you used your phone # or email) or they may be able to pull up past purchases with the card you used. I usually have them email my receipts and even when I purchase in store, it registers those purchases to the account I setup on the website.
