This is very frustrating. I thought my CR touch was bad to bought a new one. It worked for about 3 prints and then on the forth it started bashing into the plate.
I went back and redid the Z. Z offset was -40 = hit the bed again so adjusted while printing and had to go to a positive .60.
Next time turned on, home, again smashing into bed. Tried adjusting and the MOvement Z went all the way to 0.00 without getting even close to bed, Z offset I had to adjust to -1.40
Homed again, smashed into bed. Changed to old CR, Redid adjustment, this time movement Z, at 0.00 perfect distance. Set Z offset to 0.00. worked.
prints at certain points wont stick.
took everything apart, reinstalled, Mov Z, at 0.00 paper barley grabbed, set offset to 0.00 and seems to be ok with minor print adherence issue.
Turned back on next day, SOS at before.
1st, it appears the directions are WRONG.

Take that number (0.00)
home
Put that number in Offset “Z”
Save
Auto level
Smash….
Beginning to take the Ender 3/v2 especially the CR and beat it with a hammer.
