Creality Print is listed as supporting the 3DConnection 3D mouse, but it doesn’t work with the application. I’ve contacted 3DConnexion suppoirt and their response indivcates that it’s up to Creality to make it work if they so desire.
I am running version 7.1.0.4414 om a Mac, Tahoe 26.2 version OS.
The product does work but I have found that the 3D Connexion Software is buggy as hell.
I found their tech support to be very responsive but totally clueless. If I were to guess, they hire part time high school students to man the tech support desk.
I found that I often have to do two things:
Restart the connexion software while the app is already launched and that it says CrealityPrint when you open the app. It often gets confused as to what app is on top.
This isn’t a 3D connexion software problem, it works fine with orca, bambu studio and prusa slicer without having to do any sort of software restarts or manual configuration - at least in MacOS
OK; got a reply from 3DConnexion support. It does work with Creality Print, but only the Windows version. Bought it mainly to use with Fusion, so while Creality would have been a bonus, I guess I can do without for now. Looks like a feature request…
