Hi everyone,
So I wonder if anyone can help me out here before I send back the only Creality machine I’ve bought in years. No matter what I try, the outer edges, not just corners, of every print warps. Not a lot but just enough to ruin the surface of each print.
I bought a Creality Hi Combo as a back up for my start up printing business. I thought in the long run I could utilise the CFS and sell on the machine but for now I am finding it very frustrating.
I have stripped machines completely down, rewritten cfgs and macros for my Qidis but I am stumped with this. I have run every calibration. I have used aluminium as the bed was 0.7 deviation and it is now 0.24 (not perfect but should be acceptable). I have made sure there are no drafts, the ambient temperature is around 23 degrees, the bed is washed thoroughly, bed preheated for 30mins, I’ve tried different filament. I’ve adjusted the z offset to 0.02 in the Print-start macro for the perfect first layer. I’ve checked the nozzle was tight. I’ve printed in different areas of the bed and different angles. It’s the same always. I’ve even tried 3D print glue. My final attempt is to drop the bed temp down to 50. Anyone have any other suggestions before I return it? 60 hours of printing so far and no successes. All my other printers in the same place just print with no questions asked. And some are open machines like the AD5X. This Hi does not seem like a great back up printer…..
Thanks in advance
