OK, New to core xy. Got a used Ender7. Z axis adjust … does the plus arrow move the print bed up towards nozzle, or down, away from nozzle?

What is the motor control button for?

This machine will be the death of me.

I thought I answered this but I can’t see my reply.

I looked at the z rod at the back of the print bed, and pressed the plus or minus buttons. Pushing the plus button made the rod turn to the right, moving the bed down. Pushing the minus button did the opposite.
