Advice - Falcon 2 Pro

Good Afternoon, I do quite a bit of woodturning and I’m looking at getting the Falcon 2Pro so that I can engrave an emblem onto the bottom of bowls, vases etc. My concern is that the pro would be restricted by the height of the items I want to engrave. Some vases could be 6 or 8 inches tall. The question is. Can the falcon 2 pro be raised up to cope with taller objects? I looked at the cheaper falcon 2 open frame and thought that the legs could be extended to the correct height but not sure of the Falcon 2 pro because of the enclosure.

Any advice would be welcome

Yes that works, you can pull the bottom drawer out and disable the safety, a button switch on the inside of the machine (if this is not done it will not turn on the laser). Don’t forget to wear safety glasses then.

Thank you, that’s very helpful. I’ve just ordered the Falcon 2 Pro, so when it comes I’ll have to look for the safety button
