I have a weird issue. I am printing a 1.5cm test cube. I use 0.14 layer thickness and 0.2 for the first layer. I have 6 bottom layers.
The first 6 layers print fine but then, as soon as the infill starts I get a bulge around the bottom.
I tried pretty much everything. It’s NOT an elephant foot.
What could be causing this?
I am using DEEPLEE PLA+, plate is at 60° C.
It makes NO sense. The first 4 layers (bottom thickness) are perfect. And then it warps out and back in.
Must be something mechanical. Definitely not a temp issue, I think.
A slighly bigger part. The left side was on the plate. This one has small bevel on the bottom layer to the verts. Same thing. Bulging out after printing bottom layer.
Really lively forum, I must say.
Thanks for the all the help!
I found out what it was: Lead screw nuts were worn out from the factory on a 1 week old printer.
