The K2 Plus with CFS is available from the Singapore Store at (K2 Plus Combo: Multi-Color 3D Printer for Versatile Printing – Creality Store)
Have you used this 3D printer in other countries? If so, we’d love to hear about your experience!
I would go as far as to say that the K2 is a very good printer ,
If you only use the external reel. I have spent the last 10 weeks printed 325mm high products (amongst other things) and It is very reliable and the quality is excellent.
However, Every time I connect the CFS it is a disaster (and this is what was promoted in the sales literature - auto multi colour) I currently cannot use the CFS - it unloads instead of loads, I get the red light etc. All the things this forum has pointed out. At the moment its acts as a store for reels.
If you don’t need the CFS go for it.
Interesting - I’ve had a very good experience so far with the CFS autoloader. It was one of the main reasons I chose the K2+ over the Prusa CoreOne (that and the larger build volume). If you don’t need the extra size and manual filament loading is your thing, I would say go with the Prusa, as you’ll always get the best support in the industry and folks who really know how to build printers and create excellent profiles! I’m getting good results from my K2+, but I do miss the Prusa customer experience.
We needed the extra size for a new product. The CFS was supposed to be able to do what I can with the X1Cs but with a bigger chamber.
Hopefully Creality can sort my problem out permanently. I contacted Creality yesterday re my CFS issue and they are despatching the 5 ways PCB as they deem this is the normal problem
Hopefully all will be well then. fingers crossed. It would be lovely to see it working properly.
