Any issues with using AliExpress for replacement parts?

Not centric to just the K1 Max, but it is the printer I have to buy replacement parts. Any issues using the much cheaper AliExpress over Creality or Amazon websites?

I buy off them all the time. I needed some parts for my Ender 5 plus and Creality said to look on Aliexpress. For my Qidi printers they point me to Aliexpress directly from their webshop for new nozzles etc. Bought all sorts of parts for my Ender 3V3SE and KE. Not got a K1Max but I doubt it would be any different an experience.

I’ve gotten hot end parts from Ali and also Temu. Compare with Amazon though because not all prices will be cheaper such as filament.

Delivery time is also a lot longer so it depends if you want to stock up on spares so time is not a problem or you want it next day then Amazon.

Never had a problem using ali as stated “time for delivery” so order spares

AliExpress had the heat sink for the K1C when no one else even catalogued it. Not sure how that happened, but my K1 Max was down wit a hot-end melt down and after hours of trying to get a fix, I realized there was more than one version of K1Max hot end heat sink. Only found out by comparing troubleshooting pictures to mine that I had a K1C Hot end heat sink. Biggest problem with AliExpress is long delivery times. Also, that supply channel may dry up with some new regulations passed by the government aimed at Temu

AliExpress is top
