App issue, possibly solved - December update problems.?

EDIT- I think I found my own solution. Looked online and found an older version of Creality Cloud 5.12.1 APK and side loaded on my Android after deleting the newer updated crap from my phone and now the camera monitoring works properly. So not only does Print software 6.0 have issues but the recent app version(s) does too. I may go back to Print 5.17.x too. Just bad!


I had updated my phone apps when I also did the 6.0 software update and the app either wouldn’t start/connect to my account or the video for print monitoring would say “network error,”

It will show print progress so it is connected to the network, but appears to be a streaming issue with the app connectivity,

I have uninstalled the app. Tried the full pp (loaded with bloat and crap) and the lite version too without success. I have force stopped the app and cleared the cache and various other tricks with the phone too with no success there either.

I was wondering if it was the January Android update with some new security feature. It was driving me nuts!

Using the older APK I did have it still be weird but that was also using CP 6.0 update. I’ll have to test when the older 5.1 is running. Fortunately when I installed 6.0 I put it in a different folder so both can be run and tested. As much as I love my KE and having decent software and a camera app, Creality sure does like to screw things up!
