How do i select ASA filament to print from spool holder. Printer has no ASA to chose.
i dont recommend to print that with an open printer
If you need to ask how to do that you better stick with printing with PLA… ASA is not the easiest material to print, and for sure not without enclosure…

But i found a way to do it.
we dont want to you print ASA, we care about your health and the people or animals that live in your house, DONT PRINT ASA WITH OUT A CLOSED PRINTER, U ARE POSTING THIS ON “CREALITY HI” TOPICS AN OPEN PRINTER, we never will help u to print something toxic cancerigen.

You know you can easly enclose an open printer right?
Never the less, im printing pretty small parts.
but you need ventilation and active carbon air filters

Yes, printing a small piece is probably less exposure than running a large print all day. But “small” doesn’t mean nothing especially if the printer is in a closed room, you sit beside it, or you print ASA regularly. You also cannot judge the danger only by the smell. You don’t need to stop printing. Just don’t use your lungs as the filtration system.
When ASA is heated, it releases VOCs and extremely tiny particles into the air. Some of those particles are small enough to travel deep into your lungs. The fumes can also irritate your eyes, nose, throat, and lungs, and may cause headaches or dizziness.
The best setup is an enclosed printer that vents outside. A HEPA filter helps catch particles, while a proper gas or vapor filter is needed for VOCs. A regular desk fan only spreads the fumes around the room. Try not to stay beside the printer while it runs, and give the enclosure time to clear before opening it. NIOSH recommends ventilated enclosures, local exhaust, particle filtration, gas/vapor filtration, and spending less time near an operating printer.
