Is it possible to return the K1C-2025 ?

Without root it’s useless for me .

It is, in fact, useless to anyone who considered buying it without ROOT.
A lot of people screwed up when buying revision 2025, including me.
I thought it was a more stable and customized revision, but in the end it was stable and customized, but closed at the same time…
I’m waiting for ROOT to be opened.
In the meantime, we have to calibrate the same table using crutches…

So i just watched a few videos on the i7 and turns out that has the root option available out of the box. I can’t understand how a printer that was released 1 day ago has that option but the k1c does not.

I wouldn’t say it’s useless to me, but I am very disappointed to figure this out after the fact and feel a little bit duped. Really hoping they open this up with a firmware update.

It seems like we’ve learned how to get root access, but it’s too early to talk about Helper Script.

Im too worried I’ll brick my machine and I’m willing to wait, especially if there’s an official root process forthcoming. If I understand this correctly, that may be the case…

Creality Print v7.0.1.4212 has fluidd support, which is a nice step in the right direction

Have you been able to get that working? I tried it and it told me I needed to update octoprint.

I’ve been trying and I can’t figure out how to get this exploit to work. I downloaded python and wsl and enabled all of it. Tried to generate the new key or what ever but that didnt work. Then tried the next part with the ip addresses but that didnt work either. I’m kinda fed up with the situation and I’ll be replacing the mainboard when the new Fysetc upgrade comes out. But for now I would at least like to be able to do things like see my bed mesh.

That would be great if we could chat sometime so I can learn. I swear I’m not computer illiterate, I just dont know coding or python (yet). I’ve actually been looking into courses because of this lol.
