Hello Everyone, I have the Creality CR-M4 3D printer. It was working really good until last week. From last week, the printer started behaving weirdly when I try to do auto bed levelling, The bed levelling sensor doesn’t sense the bed and it gets stuck and the nozzle is being pushed into the printing bed and it start drilling the bed. This seems really weird , at first I thought it would be because of the firmware update and I updated it. But the problem was not resolved and then I checked all the electronics connection, everything is quite fine. If somebody can suggest me a solution for this problem that would be really helpful for me. Anybody had the same problem? I have attached a video with message.
It doesn’t look like the touch is changing state when it connects. I haven’t used that specific probe or printer, but you should be able to find out how to use a continuity meter to check if the contact is opening/closing when the probe is depressed. You could also swap the part out with a new one and see if that fixes it. If the probe is functioning properly it is most likely a software issue in which I’m not too savvy.
Hello thanks for replying. I have tried touching the leveling sensor probe, before it reaches the bed with my finger, it senses my finger and it retracts. But when it comes to the bed it doesn’t sense it and the nozzle is being pushed into the printing bed. I don’t know why, it is really weird to me.
Definitely new one to me. Have you tried to reflash the firmware? Hopefully you can find someone with a similar issue on here or another forum
