I’m looking to integrate the CR Otter scanner into an automated setup. Does anyone know if there’s an API available for this scanner? If not, are there any open-source repositories that could facilitate this kind of automation with the Otter?

As far as I know there are none, the whole scanner stuff, unlike the 3d printer firmware for example, is highly proprietary.
Creality has a feedback form, you could suggest that adding API access for the scanners would be helpful:
