Black Screen with Creality Print V6

Hi,
I just update to Creality Print V6 and I got a Black screen on the viewport space. Same issue with Bambu Studio. Creality Print v5.1 work 100%.

I have update my Nvidia driver but this not working. The screen flickers and displays the board every few micro-seconds before turning black again.

Someone can help me ?

Thank you.

Hi,
Thank for your answer but I have try to enable On/Off the dark mode and it’s not working…

The problem is the same with Bambu Studio and I wonder if this does not come from a problem with a common base in the code of the two slicers (if we assume that both use the same Open source base).

Have you tried Orca or Cura too?

Not yet but I will try soon to night or tomorrow.

I just try the last version of Orca (2.2.0) and it’s the same problem. I have black screen and some artifact of pixel and flicker.

All work good on my computer and Creality 5.1 work good to !

Bambu Studio : the arttifact is to the up left corner of the black screen.

Are you using win 11? If so do have dark selected in win 11 settings.

Bill

Yes, Win 11 and Dark mode, no effect. That look like my computer does not want to display the space dedicated to the visualization of the 3D board and the 3D model. All 3D software I using work perfectly.

Update : Prusa Slicer work.

I’m running Nvidia, so I don’t think it is that.

Solution found, I post here for those who will encounter the same issue .

Apparently I wasn’t the only one affected by this problem. I was able to find a GitHub post (linked) where a user reset the settings of his AMD Software.

I downloaded from the AMD site: AD SOftware Adrenaline, during installation I specified to reset to factory settings.

Deleting the previous driver and OpenGL and installing the new one and OpenGL allowed me to return to normal operation with the latest versions of Bambu Studio, Creality Print V6.0 and OrcaSlicer.

Hello Dacir,

That is actually an interesting thing to note for later.
I personally don’t run CP version 6 nor Bamby slicer, but my computers all run Nvidia/ AMD.

Cheers.

I solved this by opening my display settings and turning off HDR. Then shut down Creality Print and reopen. This worked for me.
