Blobbing? or Stringing?

I just ordered a K1 max printer and it comes in on next tuesday.

Nice. :+1: I hope it works goodā€¦

Check the hot end on your new K1 Max to see which one is installed before you order any nozzles. The newer ones have the updated unicorn style on it and not interchangeableā€¦
Original Style:
Hotend-2

Newer:
Hotend-1

I 'll check that

thanks

I have the newer hot end with the unicorn style.

I have set up the machine.

I inserted my textured PEI plate instead of the smooth plate.

The machine did the self check and calibration procedure (with my PEI plate) etc.

Now I try to print something in petg.

But knocks off my print very soon because off bad adhesion to the plate I think.

Do I need to adjust something?

You have a K1 max, so maybe you have some advice.

I 'll try print again now with lower speeds.

I always wipe down the build plate with Alcohol.

Print something simple to see how your first layer is lookingā€¦Then you can adjust the Z offset as itā€™s printing to see how it looksā€¦

How do I adjust the Offset?

In the creality slicer i found enable gcode offset(Z)
it is at -0,05 that is to high I can see that by my first print.

but where do I lower the offset so it is saved?

You can just type the number in and it will save for all prints.

In the printer menu itself there is a setting for changing the Z offset while itā€™s printing so you can see the results. That wonā€™t save but will give you an idea of what you need to put in the slicer settingsā€¦

With a (-) before the number it will move closer to the build plateā€¦
