I hear a lot about printing on blue masking tape, I would like to do this for printing petg.
If I use blue masking tape, do I still need to heat the bed because the tape comes loose.
What do you recommend for printing petg, a pei bed or glass bed
As far as printing PETG it helps to use some type of glue as a release agent to help the model come off the plate a lot easier if that’s what you are asking about…
I use PEI on all my printers. I started with glass but that was too difficult to get consistent and also the surface would chip off and embed itself in my prints. I have not used the blue tape but I have seen it used.
