Hi everyone,
I have a brand‑new Creality Falcon A1 Pro and I am experiencing a Z‑axis homing problem.When the machine starts the auto‑focus/homing sequence, the laser module moves down but it does not detect the Z endstop. Instead, it keeps going down until it touches the rack/gear and then shows an error.After inspecting the machine, I found that a small plastic alignment tab on the Z‑axis is broken. This tab is supposed to stop or align the laser module during the homing process. Because it is broken, the module cannot detect the correct position and the homing fails.
The machine is completely new, so I am not sure if this is a manufacturing defect or shipping damage.I am attaching photos of the broken part.Has anyone experienced this issue?
Should I request a replacement part or open a warranty claim?Thank you.
