Hi everyone,
I have recently bought a brand-new K1 max and CFS unit which I have set up and it runs magnificently all except for the bed levelling! I was told on the Facebook group the best thing to do would be to purchase a BTT Eddy and I was told that it will run fine without updating the firmware. I was told just read the documentation for the probe on how to run it without the upgraded firmware. I’m a little bit lost, has anyone else got the same setup and can give me some suggestions please do I need to change any of the coding in klipper etc? Thank you in advance for your help!
Did you get an answer to this? I am stuck on installing the simple AF firmware. can’t change directories
No, I haven’t had a reply yet.
I have had a hell of a time with my duo. Not the unit getting software installed to use it.
I found out Simple AF is not compatible with CFS, so I didn’t install.
I have been having problems with my motherboard. I would try to get software installed, and it would not install. I did get Guppy for BTT EDDY installed, and the screen was messed u;p some icons worked, and some didn’t. I tried to uninstall, and it bricked the Motherboard. I took it out and went through the steps to flash it, and it would not boot to the flash mode.
Ordered a new motherboard from Amazon. will have it tomorrow.
At that time, I will install the latest firmware and CFS Firmware. Then the Helper Script and that’s it. Then research on an easy way to get the BTT Eddy working.

Let me know how you go, I may be able to learn something from you. I thought there was a script that you could run if they were bricked?
There is, but I think there was a problem with my motherboard in the first place.
As far as the guppy screen, I hated the screen.
Here’s the way to recover.
For me, the light didn’t come on, no matter what data cable I used. So it was officially bricked. New motherboard installed back to searching for drivers
Hope all goes well for you, if I have that problem I’m in big trouble because those instructions are for Windows and I am running on a Mac!
