Build plate recomendations

Hi,

We have 3 x Ender V 3V printers, see below for type…

I’m having problems with adhesion to the build plate, seems more common when i print tall thick parts

Even cleaning the plate with iso before each print doesn’t help.

We are using ABS - FR filament for most jobs, at 260 degrees head and 80 degrees for the plate,

I could hear the one this morning as it separated from the plate as it cooled.

And then some turn out perfectly, and some even without a brim

Some questions…

Is there a way to get the build plate to cool down slowly,

Can i use 3d glue on this type of build plate or should i get a glass one to glue onto

COMGROW Artic. Since I bought one of those I’ve have yet to have first layer adhesion problems with PLA or PETG.

Don’t use iso alcohol on PEI bed ! Just clean it with soap and hot water…

And add some glue so the material sticks better to the buildplate….

I haven’t used glue, hairspray or anything else since I got my COMGROW. The last few prints I’ve even cut out brim and the corners don’t warp on this plate. I print PETG and PLA mostly. I dedicated one side for PETG and the other for PLA. I have some ASA and TPU sitting in the draw but haven’t tried to print with those yet as I’m still working out my enclosure and vent.
