Can’t Import STL Files into Creality Print After Latest Update

Hello everyone,

I recently updated Creality Print to the latest version and since then I’ve had the following problem: I can’t import any .stl files anymore. I open the corresponding folders, but no files are shown there. When I try to drag the files from Explorer into Creality Print, that doesn’t work anymore either (I’m pretty sure this used to work without any issues).

If I open the files with a double-click, Creality Print launches and the STL model is loaded without any problems, but only a single one. If I open multiple files at once, a separate instance of Creality Print opens for each STL file.

It’s slowly driving me insane because I have absolutely no idea what could be causing this! Help!

@Metheldas You could go back to the last version 3420 for windows.

I have the same problem. Creative Cloud is unlogical and extremely difficult to use. Would it be possible to use some third-party software where the interface would be a USB stick to the printer itself?

@Jokka_Pekinen Are you using Creately cloud or creately print 6? If you are using Creately cloud in a web browser, I agree 100%, but the software version that runs on a local computer (PC in my case) runs MUCH better and is much more intuitive to use. I haven’t used the cloud version in so long. Does it even have roll over help yet?

So… after uninstalling and reinstalling everything again it works. I don’t know why, but it does!

Good to hear you fixed it. You are running the latest version..?

Use Orca Slicer, fully drag & drop. I usually grab models from 3D Builder and move them to a build plate, slice n print!

Hope it helps!

Yes, latest Version. I really don’t know where those problems came from right out of a sudden. Don’t know what really solved it either.
